This piece honestly hit way too close to home for me as I had a hard friendship breakup with a former university friend who I thought would be in my future :( I really felt every word you said, especially about how it ultimately felt toxic for you as you put more energy into the friendship. Sending you all my love Rez 🤍🤍

It's really difficult and its hard to be happy about the situation too but its a part of growth and moving forward I think, sorry to hear about your friend, sending you lots of love xx

I feel this with quite a few people who mean a lot to me that I love, friends, siblings… when you’re not interested in doing any work on yourself you kind of trap your relationships in a time you can’t move on from. I’m not sure they can see how frustrating that is, because they haven’t the growth to compare it with. Hard to feel happiness alongside with the relief of freeing yourself from those relationships when you wanted them to work!

It's really difficult because of course you want the best for people around you too! It's not easy at all.
